There are different types all over the place. There are loud fans, small fans, stupid fans, and annoying fans. There are smart fans, casual fans, and so on and so forth. Here are the types of fans there are in sports.
You will watch a little bit of a football game even though it doesn't really capture your undivided attention. You frequently miss games, or just don't care to watch them. You don't follow stats, scores, and win-loss record. You just watch if you are bored. Here have type of sport that you can refer as guide...

NINETEEN SOMETHINGS TO SAY TO CHILDREN

1.I love you! There is nothing that will make me stop loving you. Nothing you could do or say or think will ever change that.
2.You are amazing! I look at you with wonder! Not just at what you can do, but who you are. There is no one like you. No one!
3.It's all right to cry. People cry for all kinds of reasons: when they are hurt, sad, glad, or worried; when they are angry, afraid, or lonely. Big people cry too. I do.
4.You've made a mistake. That was wrong. People make mistakes. I do. Is it something we can fix? What can we do? It's all over. You can start fresh. I know you are sorry. I forgive you.
5.You did the right thing. That was scary or hard. Even though it wasn't easy, you did it. I am proud of you; you should be too.
6.I'm sorry. Forgive me. I made a mistake.
7.You can change your mind. It's good to decide, but it is also fine to change.
8.What a great idea! You were really thinking! How did you come up with that? Tell me more. Your mind is clever!
9.That was kind. You did something helpful and thoughtful for that person. That must make you feel good inside. Thank you!
10.I have a surprise for you. It's not your birthday. It's for no reason at all. Just a surprise, a little one, but a surprise.
11.I can wait. We have time. You don't have to hurry this time.
12.What would you like to do? It's your turn to pick. You have great ideas. It's important to follow your special interests.
13.Tell me about it. I'd like to hear more. And then what happened? I'll listen.
14.I'm right here. I won't leave without saying good-bye. I am watching you. I am listening to you.
15.Please and Thank You. These are important words. If I forget to use them, will you remind me?
16.I missed you. I think about you when we are not together!
17.Just try. A little bit. One taste, one step. You might like it. Let's see. I'll help you if you need it. I think you can do it.
18.I'll help you. I heard you call me, here I am. How can I help you? If we both work together, we can get this done. I know you can do it by yourself, but I'm glad to help since you asked.
19.What do you wish for? Even if it's not yet time for birthday candles and we don't have a wishbone, it's still fun to hear about what you wish for, hope for, and dream about.

ADULTS VS. CHILDREN

When I look at a patch of dandelions, I see a bunch of weeds that are going to take over my yard.
My kids see flowers for Mom and blowing white fluff you can wish on.
When I look at an old drunk and he smiles at me, I see a smelly, dirty person who probably wants money and I look away.
My kids see someone smiling at them and they smile back.
When I hear music I love, I know I can't carry a tune and don't have much rhythm so I sit self consciously and listen.
My kids feel the beat and move to it. They sing out the words. If they don't know them, they make up their own.
When I feel wind on my face, I brace myself against it. I feel it messing up my hair and pulling me back when I walk.
My kids close their eyes, spread their arms and fly with it until they fall to the ground laughing.
When I pray I say Thee and Thou and grant me this, give me that.
My kids say, "Hi God!!! Thanks for my toys and my friends. Please keep the bad dreams away tonight. Sorry, I don't want to go to Heaven yet. I would miss my Mommy and Daddy."
When I see a mud puddle, I step around it. I see muddy shoes and clothes and dirty carpets.
My kids sit in it. They see dams to build, rivers to cross and worms to play with.

Parents Poem

Parents are the unsung heroes of every person that has ever done anything great. Think about the people that you most admire in your life. Do you attribute any of their greatness to the people that raised them? Often, we do not even think about the fact that there were most likely two people who were most influential in making a person who they are. Of course I am referring to his or her parents. If a person is great, remember that greatness is not achieved in a vacuum. There were people who sowed the seeds of greatness. © Family Friend Poems

Does homework affect student learning?

Does homework help or hinder student learning—and which students, under what conditions, does it help or hinder? School board members have long struggled with this question as they strive to implement policies that will support student learning. Parents worry that their children have too little homework or too much—and teachers get criticized for both.

Myth 1: Homework increases academic achievement. Link between homework and achievement often directly contradict one another and are so different in design that the findings of one study cannot be evaluated fairly against the findings of others.
Myth 2: Without excessive homework, students’ test scores will not be internationally competitive. Information from international assessments shows little relationship between the amount of homework students do and test scores.
Myth 3: Those who question homework want to weaken curriculum and pander to students' laziness..
The positive and negative effects of homework can be grouped into categories. Supposed benefits include immediate achievement and learning, long-term academic benefits, nonacademic benefits, and benefits to parents and families. Supposed disadvantages include loss of interest in school due to burnout, lack of leisure time, interference by parents, cheating, and disparity between performance levels of students. However, it is not known if this disparity would be any more of a disadvantage in homework than in regular classwork.

Although the overall effects of homework on student achievement are inconclusive, studies involving students at different grade levels suggest that homework may be more effective for older students than for younger ones.

Upin & Ipin are coming

I ever watched this movie...it was very interesting 3D animated movie..it's about an adventurous journey of a kampung group..a weird creature named opet was brought them into a different world where they found a big snake, a big leech and more...actually they were in their mission to save the Opet's mother. they had faced many challenge situation.Raju,Upin, ipin and their sister were lost in a jungle..deep in the jungle.. Uniquely Raju can understand what animals talking... so he can communicate with Opet. Opet asked them to help his mother... Finally they made it..they success to save Opet's mother..It was very exciting movie..I think this is the best 3D movie. It's almost Hollywood 3D's films like Nemo, Cars, The incredible.. but the truth is the international quality is there.. The character in the movie look alive with the facial expression, emotions, the movement, voice over and the surrounding in the film look perfect too..we should be proud of the crew of the movie because they manage to create such a great film..

How to maximise our brain while studying

1. By the time someone reaches adulthood they mostly only use the left side of their brain while studying, that's the mathematical side - where you think in black and white. Kids use the whole thing, probably why they do better in their minor tests! Use both sides, its the only true reliable way.

2. Clear your desk - if you think you can do just as well with a messy desk as you can with a neat orderly one. Have a folder for each subject and make your bed - all three oddly make you remember more.

3. Relax.

4. Start studying as soon as you can after class. The minute you come in the door, slam your bag on the ground, run upstairs, take a shower (if you need it), and start studying straight after.

5. Listen in class. Believe it or not, those who do well in any subject listen in class, even if they don't appear to be.

6. Pick out the important words in bold and look them up on the net or get it from the textbook and write your own definition for them - this helps greatly.

7. Paraphrase. By paraphrasing you can make the information easier to handle, making it better to remember what you've learned.

8. For your homework, use the resources available to you - the main ones being the text book and class notes. More or less rewrite it in your own words. Sounds kind of "duh!" but you'd be surprised by the amount of people who do badly because they don't read the book.

9. Get cheat notes and read them. This will make you seem and feel more clever when you're reading the textbook.

10. Take an interest in the subject, but don't be too focused on being interested. Let yourself say "Oh my God, really?" every once in a while, even if you feel like an idiot. Then make a note of what you did not know and say "Wow, that's amazing."

11. Have the ability to relax with your textbooks. The tests aren't the end of the world so take a deep breath and relax.

12. Spend approximately 3 deep hours a day studying.

Good luck to everyone...

Skype?

Skype is software that allows users to make telephone calls over the Internet. Calls to other users of the service and to free-of-charge numbers are free, while calls to other landlines and mobile phones can be made for a fee. Additional features include instant messaging, file transfer and video conferencing. It was created by entrepreneurs Niklas Zennström, Janus Friis, and a team of software developers based in Tallinn, Estonia. The Skype Group has its headquarters in Luxembourg, with offices in London, Tallinn, Tartu, Stockholm, Prague, and San Jose.I think, in UMP everyone use this software to communicate with other. We can send messages, make a call and also send file to the other. I also use this software to communicate with my friend and family. Also can save my credit phone too...hik3

Don't Think Much - Try To Avoid Thinking About Your Problems Too Much.. Think About Something That Will Make You Happy.
Do Something That You Like The Most - If You Are Gamers Like Myself Then Playing Games Is The Solution. When I Play Games I Can Throw Away My Problems. There Also Another way such as watch movie, listen to the radio and etc.
Treat yourself - if you have had a hard day, why not run a hot bath and spend a few hours soaking your weary body and reading a trashy novel
Keep in touch with friends - your true friends will look out for you. They will know when you are down and how to pick you up. Often talking to your friends is the reality check you need when stress is making you depressed.

examination
As examinations are coming near,
Our minds are trembling with fear,
We start thinking as to why,
Didn't we study throughout the year.
In June our year starts,
We refresh our little hearts,
As July and August pass,
We study for time-pass,
In September-October flowers bloom,
We pass our time sleeping in the room,
November and December bring cold,
The books become too heavy to hold.
January and February are bright and pleasant,
We keep ourselves busy in enjoyment,
But as March comes marching,
We panic and for our books we start searching,
So as exams come near,
We start worrying with fear.

14 February

If you think I’m gonna talk about Valentine’s Day, you’re half correct and half wrong. If you must know, there are many argumentably different views on celebrating Valentine’s Day in Malay/Muslim community. Well that would be too broad for me to analyze. Let me tell you about my university culture instead. So there are 3 groups of people in UMP when this matter concerns. First, those who (secretly or openly) believe in celebrating the Valentine’s, and maybe they have their own reason for it. Second, those who do not celebrate Valentine’s, as it’s against the culture and religion. It’s been a debate about it in Islamic forums and discussion, and I remember seeing posters of protest on the Valentine’s celebration in the campus. And the third group, those who are sitting on the fence :D or simply don’t care. I guess I fall into the third group.
Okay, so I reckon that Valentine’s doesn’t not come from our culture, or religion. Then again, the New Year’s eve celebration is not in the culture and religion either, yet people are crazy celebrating it. To be honest, people in the East love to do what people in the West do. Including the Valentine’s Day. If people really think they should remember or celebrate the day for a reason or another, go on. If you ask me, I don’t celebrate the Valentine’s, as in, I don’t celebrate the New Year’s eve. Simple as it is, no other reasons.
But I have a real reason to remember and celebrate 14th February. Today is my parents’ 28th Anniversary. Great, isn’t it? :) They got married on 14 Feb 1980, though I am not pretty sure what made they choose this date. Mama said she didn’t even know about the Valentine’s Day then. Anyways. My best wishes to Mama & Abah!!! *hugs* I hope my future marriage will be as happy and firm and longlasting as yours, too.
By the way, Happy Valentine’s Day, everyone!

My readers?

Sometimes I’m just surprised that this blog really has got readers. Yes, YOU! (if you’re reading this, then you’re this blog’s reader, aren’t you? Heh). Okay I mean, I am no writer, politician, celebrity or popular person whom people are keen to know my updates or love affairs HAHA. Neither I belong to a group of friends who’re blogging, and in fact I don’t have too many friends to begin with. I just write my so-called daily notes who are rather boring I can say, with another intention to getting used to English. And as far as I know, I don’t put my blog link in anywhere on the internet except in Postcrossing forum, because they’re the closest online community to me so I don’t mind if they come to read my silly writings by chance sometimes. If they’re interested, anyway. And I guess a couple of friends do have a peek on here once in a while too, hehe. Other than that people who come across here are mostly led by search engines when they’re looking for some information like company profiles and interviews (as lately I have been writing about my interview calls, interviews experience, including the company name right on the subject title) so HAHA I can’t help feeling sorry that how often this blog traps these poor visitors who are actually looking for a more useful information rather than craps I write here :P
Oh yes, in case you’re wondering how I know these, WordPress & Statcounter give me information about the blog visitors, though it’s not fully working.
So yeah, I am glad this silly blog somehow gives me a chance to meet nice people out there!
Anyway, my readers, whoever you are and wherever you’re from, and whatever reason you’re here (trapped or otherwise, hehe), I have to thank you for your time to visit me. Be free to leave comment, or just say hello, that will make me really happy! Hugs!

Simple vs Real

Friends
Anyone can stand by you when you are right, but a Friend will stand by you even when you are wrong...
A simple friend identifies himself when he calls. A real friend doesn't have to.
A simple friend opens a conversation with a full news bulletin on his life.
A real friend says, "What's new with you?"
A simple friend thinks the problems you whine about are recent.
A real friend says, "You've been whining about the same thing for 14 years. Get off your duff and do something about it."
A simple friend has never seen you cry. A real friend has shoulders soggy from your tears.
A simple friend doesn't know your parents' first names. A real friend has their phone numbers in his address book.
A simple friend hates it when you call after he has gone to bed. A real friend asks you why you took so long to call.
A simple friend seeks to talk with you about your problems. A real friend seeks to help you with your problems.
A simple friend, when visiting, acts like a guest. A real friend opens your refrigerator and helps himself.
A simple friend thinks the friendship is over when you have an argument.
A real friend knows that it's not a friendship until after you've had a fight.
A simple friend expects you to always be there for them. A real friend expects to always be there for you!

What is a family but a team?

The simplest family unit would consist of a father,a mother and a child.Obviously not everyone would have the same strength and capabilities. It would be ludicrous to expect an infant to search forr food or to fight off wild animals.Hence the concept of Division of Duties came into being. The adult male (father) would be responsible for hunting for food and for protecting the family from wild animals and enemies. The female (mother) would be responsible for looking after the baby and feeding him (including breast-feeding),while the young child had to continuosly learn from the adults and from the environment. This early stage in the social evolution of man clearly illustrates the efficacy of the family to work as team in order to maximize the chance of survival.
